How to Charge the Lithium-Ion Battery Your inMotion Air speaker includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This battery should be fully charged before initial use of the speaker. 1 Make sure the shipping and long-term storage switch is in the “ON” position. 2 Connect the speaker to a wall outlet. See the How to Install the AC Adapter section. When the speaker is powered on, the “POWER” LED will turn green. When the speaker is off, there is no visual indication that the battery is charging, but it will continue charging until fully charged, as long as the speaker is connected to a wall outlet. 3 Allow the battery to charge for a few hours. WARNING During the recharging process, it is typical for the battery to become warm. To be safe, keep ?ammable materials away from the speaker. WARNING To maintain optimal battery performance, (1) fully charge the battery before initial use, (2) make sure the battery is fully charged and the shipping and long-term storage switch is in the “OFF” position before storage, and (3) recharge the battery at least once a month. A full battery charge will provide up to 6 hours of continuous playing time.
