In clock mode, press the «MODE»key to switch to weighing mode. If you replace the battery, you have to re-set the time. SETTING THE TIMER (99 minutes, 59 seconds) In weighing or clock mode 1) Press the «MODE»key and hold it down to select setting of countdown timer mode. 2) Set the minute figures using «»or «». The minute figures flash on the display. Press the key and keep it down to advance quickly. 3) Confirm the minutes by pressing the «MODE»key. 4) The seconds flash. 5) Set the second figures using «»or «». Press the key and keep it down to advance quickly. 6) Confirm the seconds by pressing the «MODE»key to confirm the setting of the timer. Press the “mode” key again to return to clock mode. 7) The timer symbol flashes. 8) A beep is emitted when the countdown is finished. Press any key to stop the beeping.
