Let condensation drip off the lid into the food steamer to avoid scalding. -Always hold the steaming bowls by their handles when the food is hot. -Do not move the food steamer while it is operating. -Do not reach over the food steamer while it is operating. -Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
