« needs to be above steam temperature to remove any moisture. This is the optimal temperature. At this temperature, not a single ironable garment can be damaged and ironing is extremely effective. The challenge was to deliver a high amount of steam at this optimal temperature. In the past this would have led to water spitting, leaking and staining. To generate the high-pressure steam that does the work with a soleplate at this optimal temperature, we developed a unique patented cyclonic chamber. The steam generated penetrates deep into the fabric for fast ironing with no risk of water leaking. There are no complicated dials and you do not have to wait for the iron to warm up and cool down. Nor is there any risk of scorching your favourite clothes. It is faster, no matter who does the ironing. If you want to know how the cyclonic steam chamber works, please visit our website at www.philips.com. Happy ironing!
