Lift up the keyboard and disconnect it from the system as shown in Fig. 8 Fig. 8 Disconnecting the keyboard flat cable Removing the Optical Disk Drive To remove the ODD, first remove the battery (see Removing the Battery) and remove the Keyboard (see Removing the Keyboard) then perform the following steps: 1.
