If the meter does not work after pulling the plastic tab out, remove the battery cover and battery and check to see if part of the plastic tab is stuck in the battery compartment. If necessary, carefully remove any part of the tab left in the battery compartment. Using the Activity Meter accessory Remove the plastic tab by pulling down and straight out of the meter.
