V. FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WHEN USING THE Wii BALANCE BOARD: • Make sure you have adequate space between you and any other objects or people during gameplay. Nintendo recommends at least 3 feet (1 meter). • Place the board on a stable, ?at, horizontal surface. Avoid slippery surfaces. • The balance sensors must contact the ?oor directly for proper operation. If carpet or other material contacts the bottom of the board, use the included foot extensions. See page 10 for installation instructions. IMPORTANT: The Wii Balance Board will not work until it has been synchronized with your Wii console. See pages 7-8 for further information and instructions. The Wii Balance Board does not respond. • Make sure the power is turned on. The blue Power LED should be lit if the Power Button has been pressed. (The Power Button faces away from the TV.) • Make sure the board has been placed correctly (see page 6). • Make sure the batteries have been inserted correctly and are not been depleted. • Make sure the game you are playing is compatible with the Wii Balance Board. • Review the synchronization procedure on pages 7-8 and make sure this has been don...
