The selftimer indicator lights for about 10 seconds and then blinks for about 2 seconds. After this, the shutter will release. Remote Control RC-300C (Optional) Compose your shot in the viewfinder. Position the autofocus frame on your subject. To take a picture, point the remote control at the camera and press the button on the remote control. The selftimer/remote control indicator starts blinking, and the shutter will release about 3 seconds later (see figure 8 on page 127). Camera Shake Indicator In this mode, the camera warns you before you shoot if camera shake is likely to cause blurring. Also, when there is significant camera shake, this mode helps reduce blurring. If the green and orange lamps blink alternately when you hold the camera, it means that the camera is shaking and blurring may result. Hold the camera securely until the lamps stop blinking; then press the shutter release button.
