INSTALLATION IN THE CAR WHERE TO INSTALL Important! GPS signals are received through the built-in GPS antenna (SIRF III = suitable for all kinds of windshields, including those with metal ?lm). The unit can be mounted with the Velcro strip. Please make sure that the surfaces of the LOCATOR III and the dashboard are clean (greaseproof) for a proper adhesion. Please also make sure that the information display is to be clearly visible to the driver and that the device is placed horizontally for an optimal reception of the satellites!
