Turn the hands counterclockwise until today’s date appears, then continue forward until the current time is reached. If the current time is in the afternoon or evening, move the hour hand all the way around the dial to pass 12 o’clock noon. 5. Push the crown back in. To set the exact second, wait until the hand on the second-counting sub-dial (at the right of the main dial face) points straight up before you pull out the crown to the second click position (b). Set the time then wait until the exact second is reached before pushing the crown back in. To set the hand for the second time zone indicator, do the following, and use the outer markings on the dial face to read the time: 1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a). 2. Press button “A” to advance the hand for the second time zone indicator. Press and hold for continuous, rapid advance of the hand. 3. Push the crown back in. The alarm can be set up to 12 hours in advance. Use the inner time scale on the main dial face when setting the alarm. TO SET THE ALARM 1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a). 2. Turn the crown counterclockwise until the alarm hand reaches the desired time. Note: Do not rotate the crown clockwise as it will change the date. 3. Push the crown back in. TO USE THE ALARM function ON, press and hold button “B” until you hear two beeps. To turn the alarm function OFF, press and hold button “B” until you hear one beep. stop the alarm. If button “B” is not pressed during this period, the alarm will sound again after 1.5 minutes. If button “B” is not pressed during this second alarm, the alarm will shut off automatically. Note: If button “B” is pressed while the alarm tone is sounding, the alarm function is turned off automatically.
