« ug the AC/DC adaptor to any household AC outlet, and then plug the DC jack to the back of the clock radio. The LCD shows the default time 0:00 and it starts to search for outdoor temperature signal. Step 2 Keep your clock and wireless sensor next to each other. Slide open the battery cover at the back of your wireless outdoor sensor, then insert 2 x AAA alkaline batteries to the back of it. Replace the battery cover. Your clock will receive data signal from the outdoor sensor in few seconds. Your clock will be synchronized with the outdoor sensor, the outdoor temperature will be displayed on the upper right of the LCD. Then place your outdoor sensor in a dry and shaded area outdoor. Step 3 After your clock receives the outdoor temperature, it will start to search for the DCF signal. This may take overnight. Keep in mind that your outdoor sensor has a 100-feet open air transmission with no obstructions. Actual transmission range will vary depending on what is in the path of the signal. During reception of the DCF time signal, all buttons do not function and your weather station does not take temperature and humidity measurement. Please always hold the button on “CH1” for the outdoor temperature sensor. BATTERY BACK-UP INSTALLATION In the event that the AC/DC adaptor power is disconnected or a power failure or other interruptions occur, the back-up batteries will maintain the time and alarm settings. The radio, projection clock, LCD backlight and the Wake-by-Radio will resume working when the AC power is restored. 1. Remove the battery cover at the bottom of the clock radio. 2. Insert 3 x AAA batteries (alkaline batteries preferred) by observing the + and - polarity signs inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace the battery cover, making sure the cover locks into place. DCF SINGAL RECEPTION AND SIGNAL INDICATOR After your clock is powered up, it starts to receive DCF signal. The icon flashes. Press SET to enter time set mode, the time digits “0:00” flash. 2. Press + or - on the top of your clock radio to set your desired time. Press and hold - / + will accelerate setting in faster speed. English Page 4 of 9 TO SET 12HR OR 24 HR TIME FORMAT 1. Then press SET again, the clock display shows 24Hr and flashes. 2. Press + or - to select 12Hr or 24Hr. When 12Hr time format is selected, the PM icon will appear on the clock display to indicate the afternoon time. TO SET THE SNOOZE DURATION 1.
