My whole family have been going to this Club for many years and it is our favorite. I've enjoyed scuba diving and snorkeling over the years and never felt seaweed was a problem to be concerned with. In the past we've always commented how crystal clear the water has been, a turquise blue green.

No, I don't recall seaweed on the beach. Its a very beautiful beach. Weve been twice to this resort and would go again except we were eaten alive by sand fleas and mosquitos. I had 150 bites on 1 leg alone. Even used repellent. So be sure to learn more about that if you suffer from bug bites!

Simple answer is, no.Mimi, not sure what you are asking. Is there too much? Very little, usually. More can wash ashore after a storm. Many weed lines offshore for fishing. If you are a beach goer, the Club has a vehicle that clears the beach as needed to make it amazingly beautiful.If you are talking about eating, I don't think it is good. No the water is extremely clear and I have never experienced a seaweed issue at Columbus isle. I've been there several times over the years.

hello. The only time I had a lot of seaweed in the water was when there was a major storm system along the united states coast. there was also a type of water flea in the seaweed that stung you, just a bad irritation though. The rest of the time it was really clear waters.
