Beach snorkeling at or near the resort

Hello, we are considering a family holiday in Phuket. One of our most important objectives is to go somewhere where our kids can experience snorkeling for the first time. They are still quite young - they will be 6 and 9 at the time, so it will need to be snorkeling on a beach, not deep sea. Please confirm if there are any good snorkeling beaches in close proximity to Club Med that we will be able to visit? Thank you

Hello Mary. I am also an avid snorkellet but unfortunately the snorkelling around club med is almost non existent. The water was pretty cloudy and not much coral and sea creatures hen i was there. Your best bet would still b to take boats out to the surrounding islands.

Just to the back of the resort is a long stretch of beach that the whole family can enjoy. There are lots of activities that you can either bring your own equipments or that are available for rent including paragliding and snokelling. Have fun??
