Good evening, Ok, this hotel is great if you have a flight, which is my case, but I will have some free time during the day and would like to go in the centre. Is it possible? How far is it from the hotel? Any advice on somewhere nice to visit, not far? Thanks

Melbourne CBD is quite a large area, however, you are in the centre of it as you exit the front door of the hotel. Surrounded by shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in any direction you walk. Chinatown to the left, Bourke street Mall to the right as you exit.

This hotel is right in the middle of town. It is close to china town Burke street mall a close walk to queen vic markets as well as federation square. You can also walk over to south bank the casino is very fancy to walk through and well as shopping and eateries

Swanson is within walking distance of shopping and eating. Hopetoun Tearooms in Box Arcade off Collins St is a unique place for breakfast or coffee or tea. Trans are all free in the city so no need to walk far at all.

You are right in the heart of the shopping district. You can get a tram right outside the hotel down towards the train station and either go to the gallery or if the weather suits the botanic gardens are fabulous. Enjoy

Great hotel right in the middle of Melbourne not far from anything. Utilise the free tram system or walk it is not far from anything. Head for the Yarra river great spot!

Hi,The hotel is right in the centre of the city, shopping and cafes all around.I have stayed at this hotel, some (maybe all now) of the rooms have been renovated, which was needed. I would say the hotel is ok, sometimes its noisy from the street.In terms of what to do min Melbourne, TBH its great to walk around, I would walk down the river, about 10. minutes from the hotel, and walk along Southbank, check out the lanes. there are are also some great roof top bars (although it is starting to cool).

This hotel is smack bang in the middle of the Melbourne CBD...very close to the Arts Centre, most theatres, shopping area and Federation Square. I'm sure you'll gave no problem finding things to do. It's not that close to the airport though at least a hakf hour away by taxi.

This Hotel is central city. Not necessarily the closest to the airport.

The hotel is right in the middle of the city with easy access to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Hop on hop off bus is worthwhile also.
