No not at all. Its in a quite part of Melbourne, located down a dead end of a small road.

I have stayed here a few times. It is in the middle of the CBD and there are trams passing. If you obtain a room on a high level thenthe noise is significantly reduced. The trams do not run all night

I did not find this hotel noisy at all. It is near Swanston Street but I would not consider this a high-way. Cheers.

While it is right in the heart of downtown Melbourne, the windows do a good job of insulating from the city sounds. If you're concerned ask them for a room on the opposite side, away from Bourke St where the teams run and buskers / musicians can be noisy in the early part of the night

There is a lot of tram noise outside the hotel but inside you can hardly hear a thing.

It is a bit noisy if your room is facing to the main road. Friday night, Saturday, could be a bit noisy. But it is in a good location. Staff there are nice too.
