A visit to Ricardos Strawberry Farm, just north of Port is very worthwhile. As well as being able to pick your own strawberries the cafe is also worth a visit - good coffee. We go there every time we are in Port. A number of years ago we also took a trip around the oyster beds - not sure if this is still running.

Hi, we actually only travelled there for my husbands Christmas gift. I booked him a joy flight on a fighter jet, he loved it. Would highly recommend.

Hi, we visited the Koala Hospital, Timbertown and Bago Maze & Winery. All great fun. Keep in mind we went with kids about 10yo. so your interests may vary. But see https://portmacquarieinfo.com.au/ for a full listing of things to do.

This hotel is in the middle of everything. Lots to do in Port Macquarie and surrounds. My favorite is whale watching. Cheers.

the Glasshouse Theatre has wonderful shows all year round. There is also an Art Gallery in the building. Scenic flights in a seaplane is fun. There is a Zoo in Port and a hedge maze in Wauchope a short drive away.

We went out to the Koloa hospital, which was great to see how they care for the koloa's, also there a great walk right around the water front the kids love it as all the stones have been painted by families and town beach is great also

Take a boat trip on the Port Venture up the Hastings River, about an hour or so, very scenic. Just ask the hotel or tourist info where it leaves from. Also Sea Acres, near Lighthouse Beach has a nice café and gift shop plus a board walk above the rain forest (fee charged for board walk entry). Lovely scenic walking track along the beach from Town Beach. Lots of beautiful beaches to visit, drive down to Lighthouse Beach or further afield a nice drive to Lake Cathie (about 25 min drive from Port Macquarie along the coast). Can visit the Koala hospital as well, ask tourist info where it is.

Beautiful country town. Great climate. Laid back atmosphere but modern amenities. Beaches, fishing, warer activities..

Suggest you try picking strawberries at Riccardo just a bit north over the river Also go for the river cruise on the junk. Fishing should be good to if that floats your boat. Regards.
