We never had issues whilst staying here, the clientele seemed respectable and of good standing, no larrikins that we encountered anyway. To be safe, you could request a corner room so you don't have too many neighbours.

This hotel is totally quiet The newly renovated rooms are even more comfortable and almost totally dark and soundproof

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is a fairly quiet hotel in comparison. Geelong is generally very quiet except for special events or festivals so during the night the hotel is very quiet. Sometimes you can just hear the plumbing system but this is not at an annoying level. I always sleep soundly. The front bay view rooms do have some passing traffic & streetnoise in the evening but nothing much after 11:00 pm. It is not annoying with the balcony doors closed. The Airconditioning is very silent. Make sure you are not on level 2 over the function room if there are events as they can be significantly noisy. The staff there are alway keen to deal with any special requested.

No. From memory the hotel is quiet with no street noise. Can't guarantee who will be in adjoining rooms though if the have noisy kids

Friday or Saturday if you have a room facing the Esplanade it can be a little bit noisy overall not too bad

I didn't find it too noisy from memory and I stayed over a weekend. Was in winter though so that might make a difference

We haven't found it noisy upstairs. There are social events downstairs in the public areas but they haven't intruded on our peace.

I'm a light sleeper , and have been woken up more at home in northern vic rural than here. in saying that have enjoyed the noise of the ocean. (window open)

Have stayed here a few times and have yet to have any issues with noise, its a very restful location if anything
