Hey, I have seen that renovations are done in the hotel every weekdays. Has anyone stayed in this hotel recently and can tell me about it? Is it really noisy? Can we see the works ? Is it still nice or does it really look like "work in progress"? Thanks

Being upgraded to a Pullman. Rooms are much nicer, and not a lot of disruption. Will be excellent when finished.

We stayed here a while ago in a new room, was lovely. Didn’t see much action or noise going on at all.
Envoyer un merci ?The old king rooms however that used to look over swanston were sooooo noisy with buskers, hoping they’ve since fixed that problem!

We stay about once a month on weekdays. Noise has only once in a dozen visits been noticeable but I guess you can ask for a floor farthest away from the works as they seem to do Ione floor at a time..

stayed here about 10 months ago it was not noisy it is the best location...walk to everything...there was not much work going on then though....hope this helps

Sorry, it has been quite awhile since I stayed at Grand Macure in Swanston Street. So unable to help with noise control.

Noise from their renovation works should not be a problem. They work only in the day, unless you are in the whole day.
