Hi Jems1829383, You could not say that the neighbourhood around the Ibis is "Calm and quiet" as one of the main thoroughfares for cars (Turbot St) goes past the front door but it definitely isn't crowded and noisy. You don't hear a lot of the vehicle traffic from the rooms and the foot traffic is minimal as Turbot St (near the Ibis) is an exit from the Motorway. So to answer your question it would be half way between "Calm and quiet" and "noisy and crowded". The Ibis is situated close to the heart of Brisbane and is an easy walking distance to the main CBD attractions. I would thoroughly recommend it.

My husband and I have never found the hotel neighbourhood to be noisy. It can be busy with people traffic at times as it's a direct route to ROMA Street railway station. A safe area to be in at all times. You will be comfortable staying here

Location is great so close to everything. But you can hear the Irish pub down stairs .
