I never eat hotel breakfasts. There are some of the best cafes in Sydney around the corner. Try A1 canteen or for something different a Japanese breakfast at Devon Cafe.

The breakfast is hot and cold . Bacon , eggs ,etc. Lovely selection of fresh fruit and cereals

Hi there - I'm usually only up for coffee first thing in the morning and that is good at the Sydney Mercure. I know from sitting with colleagues that a full hot buffet breakfast is available, but can't comment either way about quality. There are quite a few 'cool' cafes around too if you want to take a 5 minute walk in the morning.

Continental and hot buffet breakfast available. We ate there everyday as it was part of our accommodation package. Meals were great and we filled up every morning so we didn't need lunch.
