You obviously have not been to Bali before- Nothing is in a hurry in Bali you go there to chill out and relax that's the beauty of the place. There is no need to rush out either as the shops mostly don't open till 10am -11am but they are open until usually 10pm at night so you shop mostly at night not in the heat of the day. That time around midday is reserved for cocktails around the pool :)
