Hello all, I'm going in this hotel for 2 nights, can I go walk to the train station ? Isn't too far ?
Is The hotel accessible to people with reduced mobility ? Thanks a lot !
Have a great weekend

Hello,
Envoyer un merci ?They have a free shuttle to the train station, very handy.
For reduced mobility, I think so. There are ramps everywhere I believe I remember... But you can double-check with them.
Now, the way to the beach is a steep set of stairs, but they offer shuttle service.
Regards,
DFB

Hi JackLi76 the hotel is on sentosa island and I don't recall it being close to a train station. It has a free shuttle bus that takes you to vivo city where all the main shops and restaurants are. It is quite secluded otherwise. I can't recall if it was reduced mobility friendly, although I don't think there were a lot of stairs around the resort.

Hi there, Sofitel provides a regular and free shuttle bus to Orchard Rd via Sentosa Casino - main points of attraction. On Orchard Rd you can access MTR (subway). On another note, taxis in Singapore are abundant and very cheap, so moving around is easy.
Envoyer un merci ?Sofitel, from memory, has mobility ramps and elevators to access all the floors and facilities.
Enjoy your stay

It is abit far to walk to train station. However, the hotel is accessible to people with reduced mobility. There are ramps for wheel chair to go around the hotel.

The easiest way to get here is by train statio (MRT) to vibo city and wait for the pickup shuttle every 30 minutes. This will take you directly to the hotel.

No you can't walk to train station. But theres a shuttle bus to bring you to a mall every 30 minutes. The train station is just underneath the mall. Similarly theres a shuttle bus that brings you back to the hotel from the mall.

Hi, you have to take the hotel shuttle bus to the nearest monorail station because the distance is quite far if you want to walk, the shuttle also provided to take you to the vivo shopping mall where you can take the MRT from this mall

Morning. It is a long walk from the station, they do run a shuttle bus, to the main resort square. However to be honest I would take a taxi. It is a hilly resort, but ramps and elevators everywhere, but it is spread out, for example the spa is a good 5 minute walk frm rooms across a road, to gt to beach is down a lot of steps, or out onto road and walk down. I think you would manage though. It is a beautiful hotel.

No Train from Sofitel Hotel , only free Shuttle to Viva City shopping Centre, then reach MRT station.
Envoyer un merci ?For Reduced Mobility, Not so convenience.
I suggest to stay at Sofitel City Centre as MRT station is just at Ground floor of this hotel.

Hi
Envoyer un merci ?You definitely would not be able to walk to the train station but it is really easy to get the free shuttle from the hotel and the hotel is definitely friendly for reduced mobility. I am not sure though if there is a ramp to the pool. But there were not a lot of steps to the pool area however as some one else commented it is quite steep to get to the beach. Enjoy it is lovely place to stay.

Hi
Envoyer un merci ?I would definitely suggest a door to door service (limo service) from the hotel or a taxi /grab service for reduce mobility especially in Sentosa island. When you mentioned train station, you are referring to mrt station (harbour front) in Singapore ? If so, the drive from there will take around 8 mins or so . Walking will take around 40min.

its not within walking distance

The train station is not walking distance from this hotel. You really need to get the courtesy bus from the resort to the station which is 10mins drive or so. Accessibility seemed ok from my recollection with ramps beside stairs along passageways and lifs across levels of the hotel.

Hello Jack,
Envoyer un merci ?The shuttle to Vivocity mall is very convenient. From the shuttle, you have to reach the train Mrt station crossing the mall. The MRT station is at the opposite and you can use the elevators to go to the B1level. Just follow the MRT direction
Enjoy your stay

Hi there is no train station in Sentosa. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to Vivo city where there is a train station. A beautiful lush resort and very a different experience from other hotels in mainland Singapore
