For best performance we recommend that the monitor is placed no further away than 3 metres from your baby. For portable Parent Unit monitoring, remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the unit and insert 3 x AAA/LR3 batteries (not supplied) ensuring correct polarity. Replace the cover and screw ?rmly in position. • SELECTING A CHANNEL Switch both Parent and Baby Units to channel 1. This need not be changed unless interference occurs. Even if the two units are on different channels, it may still be possible for the Parent Unit to pick up signals from the Baby Unit if they are close together, so you may think both units are on the same channel.
