Keep in mind that the more you move the transmitter away from the source of the signal, the more you will have to turn the volume up. “Voice Activation” Feature Whenever the control system is operating, if your baby is quiet, the LED (3) is on, on both the Receiver and the Transmitter. Troubleshooting If the Transmitter is too far from the Receiver, the system cannot not work properly: in this case put the two units nearer to each other. If the receiver is too close to the Transmitter, an acoustic feedback might be caused. In this case, you should put the units farther from each other, or turn down the volume of the Receiver. A background noise from the Receiver may signal that the batteries are exhausting and they need to be replaced. If the Power Indicator (3) is red, it means that the batteries are exhausted and they need to be replaced. CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR BREVI BABY MONITOR Take exhausted batteries off because they might cause an oxidation and damage the units. If using the adapters exclusively, or in case of a long period of inactivity of the device, take off the batteries. Keep the product away from rain and humidity. The units are not water-proof. Do not use any chemical or abrasive detergents on the units. In order not to damage the device, please use a damp and soft cloth.
