position. Before removing the blender jug, make sure that the control switch is in position 0. This also applies when fitting the blender jug to the motor housing. If the switch is not in its off-position (0), the motor will start immediately. Ice crusher This blender may also be used to crush ice. Put the ice cubes into the jug, but do not fill over the 750 ml mark, and switch the appliance on. Once the ice cubes are crushed to the desired size, switch the appliance off and take out the ice. Operation -Fit the blender jug to the motor housing with its handle on the right and lock it by turning anti-clockwise into the operation position. -Put the liquid ingredients into the blender jug. The jug has a maximum capacity of 1750 ml. To avoid possible foaming or spilling when processing foamable or thin liquids such as milk, do not fill the jug over the 1250 ml mark. -Put the lid on. To add ingredients during operation, the stopper in the centre of the lid can be removed by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction and then lifting it off. Do not put any objects into the blender jug while the appliance is operating. -Insert the plug into the wall outlet and use the control switch to select the required power setting. Depending on the food to be processed, the appliance may also be operated for short periods of time with the pulse setting “P”. Do not operate when the blender jug is empty. -After using the blender, switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket.
