ComponentGetting Started 8GB To turn off the 2-way remote system You may need to turn off the player’s 2-way remote system depending on which components you connect to this player. See “Understanding the 2-way remote system” on page 7 to see if you need to do so. Even though you turn off the player’s 2-way remote system, you can use the remote supplied with the player by pointing the remote toward the unit such as a receiver that the 2-way remote system is turned on. In this case, position the player in the proximity of the unit that the 2-way remote system is turned on. 1Press MENU/NO. 2Turning the JOG dial until “2WAY OFF ?” appears in the display window. 3Press YES.
